If you're a man in your forties (and more) or if you're in your late teens, you fall in a high risk group for suicide. On average, about 15% of depression sufferers commit suicide.
Among the older generation, those who have been divorced or who have lost a spouse are at high risk. Aging can bring on depression and unfortunately, older people generally do not seek help.
People with severe panic disorder and agoraphobia and other major illnesses are also at risk. You can help depression and panic disorder sufferers make progress.
